Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme is a registered charity (1064698) providing temporary supported accommodation to people aged 16-25 in Bolton. We support young people who are homeless with support needs by offering accommodation, emotional and practical help with the aim of enabling independent living. This service is emergency accommodation for 16-17 year olds and is designed to be a short stay facility.
This is an intensively managed service 24 hours a day for 10 vulnerable young homeless people with high support needs of huge risk factors. These are short term placements designed to offer a foundation for semi-independent living.
BYPHS provides a drop-in service at our main office in Bolton town centre for young people living on the scheme. At drop-in the young people can listen to music, play pool, meet new young people and battle it out on the PlayStation 3. The young people can also watch TV, DVDs, and use the computer suite.
