Welcome to BYPHS
Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme is a registered charity (1064698) providing temporary supported accommodation to people aged 16-25 in Bolton. We support young people who are homeless with support needs by offering accommodation, emotional and practical help with the aim of enabling independent living. We currently provide 4 different services.
Ten Tin Challenge
On 10/10 World Homeless day we launched our ten tin challenge along with Colin and Selena Bain from Bain Plumbing Services as they celebrate their 10th anniversary in business in Bolton. The campaign to help young people who are homeless on our scheme can HEAT and EAT this winter. We need the public’s help to gather as many tins of beans, soup, pasta and meat type dishes as possible. Please help if you can and circulate this flyer anywhere and everywhere you can.

BYPHS helped me come to grips with the pressures of living on your own for the first time. Everyone offered well received help that made life for me living on my own a lot more bearable. Thanks to you all! BYPHS have been so helpful especially Linda, they helped me out to get a flat while i was still working and i dont think they could have chose a better flat, nice quiet area decent sized flat and when i need help they are always there, many thanks BYPHS team :)
BYPHS has been really helpful for me especially Nick, they sorted me a flat within 2weeks a nice decent flat i cant complain about it. They have also been there for my partner and he has nothing to do with then thank you for your help. You are like a family once you are in there and become one of the family you are never forgot about I know in 10years time when I am 30 that if I had a problem and Nick still worked there that I could go to him for help and that is what families do I will never forget and they will always be on my Christmas list.

BYPHS were really helpful for me and my sister over 10 yrs ago wen my mum moved to Scotland and we didn’t want to go. they were always available if we wanted any advice or support from them. Linda and Becs were extremely helpful for us, and when it was time for us to move on they were still there for us. Even though it was a long time ago, we are still in contact with everyone at BYPHS and they are always pleased to see us.
BYPHS put me on the right track when I was confused and stressed out and very homeless. They gave me a room in a house that gave me the much needed boost in independence and confidence to make some drastic changes in my life, that before then I was too afraid to do. My support worker Becs was AMAZING! What I would have done without her help is beyond me! I have popped in once or twice to say hello and have always been greeted by a smile and had a lovely chat. I really believe that it’s because of BYPHS and Becs in part that I made the good decisions I needed to make and put me on the track I’m on today =) BYPHS fills a hole that Bolton’s youth definitely needs. Thanks Xxxx
BYPHS as help me alot through out the years. I do not think I could have achieved what I have without them. Thank you for helping me through the hard times but I want to say a bigger thank you to Diane and Nick for always being there for me. Thank you so much, I am really grateful.
