Working with others in Bolton

Bolton Young Persons’ has worked in partnership with Bolton Council and many voluntary agencies since 1990. We are part of Bolton’s strategic response to homelessness among single under 25 year olds.

• We have a contract with Bolton’s Supporting People Team to deliver accommodation and support to young people at risk and to run emergency overnight accommodation for 16-21 year olds.
• We have management agreements with Irwell Valley Housing Association, Contour Housing Group and Places for People Housing Association.
• We are a founder member of the Bolton Inter Agency Forum, made up of housing agencies from both the statutory and voluntary sectors.
• We receive funding from Bolton’s Children’s Services.
• As part of the HACT Collaborate project, we work with other small, voluntary housing providers in Bolton to improve our efficiency and effectiveness.
• We have a Service Level Agreement with Bolton’s Housing Benefit Team.
• Our Project Manager, Lynne Sprigings, chairs the Supporting People Provider Forum.
