5 Steps to getting a place with BYPHS*
- Arrange an interview: phone us on 0800 731 9150
- Allow us to check your details with other agencies or provide a personal reference.
- Ring after a week to hear if you are on our waiting list. If not, we will tell you why and how to appeal.
- Keep in touch with us so we know where to find you.
- Be prepared to come in for a second interview.
We welcome applications from any young person who needs help with housing. Even if we can’t help, we might know someone who can.
We consider each case on its merits, but please note the following:
- we provide low to medium support only
- we only accept drug users who have already taken positive steps to tackle their habit
- we carry out risk assessments on all applicants.
Any 16 and 17 year old who finds him or herself homeless, should always phone the Leaving Care homeless service on 337376. We can only consider 16 and 17 year olds for rehousing once the Leaving Care team has agreed that they are homeless.
*Please note, you have to accept a support package from BYPHS if you want to live in one of our flats
